This beautiful Gazebo was built during Helping Hands Weekend 2005 by Lanny and his family as a loving memorial to a Wife, Mother and Grandmother.

The main floor deck on Lundgren Lodge was unsafe to be used, so it was removed during Helping Hands 2004. The new post and framing was installed by Keith Louws from Sunrise with assistance of Lake Retreat Staff. The new deck flooring is Trexdex (recycled material with a life span of over 50 years). Volunteer Jim Cook from Bethany, Puyallup, installed most of the decking and railing. The beautiful new enlarged deck has been completed and is in use.

While repairing damage from storms in Winter 2003-2004 we were also able to make improvements. Along with replacing the roof on the office, we were able to add a new Craftsman-style front porch, which now offers genuine protection from the elements.
