Thank you for your interest in serving on Lake Retreat's summer staff team. We are looking
forward to a wonderful summer of life change not only in the lives of our campers but also
in the lives of our staff. Summers at Lake Retreat are challenging but full of great rewards.
If you would like to serve with a community of believers that share a common vision of

Enjoy serving side-by-side, praying for one another and experiencing camps and campers. A summer at Lake Retreat will produce
relationships which can last for years and years.

Four Ways to Serve at Lake Retreat
If your heart beats for leadership and service
check out our position descriptions below.
1. Lead Missionaries
These positions are designed for individuals that have strong leadership abilities and a high desire for service.
As a member of our leadership team we strive to serve our staff for the summer.
2. Teaching Missionaries
We hire 12 teaching missionaries for our camp programs this summer. They minister to children ranging for 8 years old to 17 years old.
If you have a desire to be a vital part of young person’s life this is the position for you. Use your life experiences to impact the
lives for Jesus Christ.
3. Volunteers
We need 60 plus volunteers for the summer. A volunteers responsibility is to stay in a cabin over night with their campers.
(Usually 6 to 8 campers in a cabin). We would love to have you stay during the day. It can give your campers a chance to get to
know you on a more personal level. Cabin time is one of the most rewarding experiences that you and your cabin can have together.
4. Lifeguards
Safety is the key! If you love protecting people and being a part of a tight team this is the position for you.
Lifeguard certificate is required (training is available for those that are not trained at well below what the Red Cross offers.
Training dates will be set as summer approaches) If you have a desire to serve kids and families by supervising their time in our
lake then this is the position for you.
