Reports to: Guest Services/Maintenance

Pay Grade: Volunteer

 

Position Description:

Assist with housekeeping, maintenance and dock duties. These may be assigned based on availability and skill.

 

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Housekeeping: (Volunteers will be assigned to all possible housekeeping turn over between guest groups. This happens once or twice a week.)
  • Cleaning/sanitizing of buildings
  • Vacuuming
  • Trash collection
  • Restroom cleaning
  • Other related duties
• Dock Duties (under supervision of lifeguards):
  • Assist with boats/boards coming in and out
  • Assist with line control at the waterfront
• Maintenance:
  • Weeding
  • Raking
  • Painting
  • Others projects as assigned
• Kitchen Clean Up
  • Assist with dining hall clean up
  • Sweeping
  • Mopping
  • Wiping down
  • Other

Education and Experience:

• WA State Food Handler’s permit (can be obtained online)

Physical Aspects of the Job

• Lifting/carrying occasionally of products or supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
