Lake Retreat Camp is home to Adelphia, a *$0 tuition, Christian gap-year program located near Seattle, WA. for ages 18-26. What sets us apart is that our students pay *$0 to participate in the program, because all students are interns who participate in the work internship program, which covers the full cost of tuition, room and board.
The people you see lifeguarding at the waterfront, kitchen assistants washing dishes, or the staff member rebuilding a retaining wall near your lodge? Those are all students participating in our Christian gap-year program who have dedicated a year of their life to grow deeper in their faith and serving the body of Christ on our campus. Our heart is to model the Life of Christ by doing life beside our students and equipping them spiritually and practically to live out their faith in the world, and to not be burdened by debt in the process.
Students live in dorms on the Lake Retreat Campus. Bible Classes are also on campus in view of our serene lake and mountains, the view many guests come specifically to enjoy during retreats!
*Work internship covers room, board and tuition - making this Christian gap-year program affordable to any student with a heart to serve Jesus. There is a $100 enrollment fee that becomes your refundable room deposit if accepted.
